Creating an infographic allows students to take complex ideas and make visual summarization of that idea. This process is highly creative and requires complex critical thinking skills. It also allows for deeper learning and can form long-term memory.
- Have students create a list of important information about the subject - they may also want to have a sentence or two explanation.
- Have them choose one of the templates and lay out the information in a creative way to make the ideas come to life.
- They should add elements/graphics that support or illuminate the ideas.
