What is it?
A challenge to tweet once daily for 100 days.
Why?
To build consistency and practise improving the quality of your tweets.
What I learned from completing this challenge.
Start with why.
- Consistency? Growth? Connections? What do you really want out of this challenge?
- It's helpful to know why so you won't be distracted by things that don't matter and easily quit.
Scheduling is your best friend.
- Before I tried scheduling, I’d easily be in a situation where it’s 11pm, and I’m still struggling with an idea’s block. That feeling is stressful and takes away the fun of being on Twitter.
- After scheduling 7 days ahead every week (well, sometimes), I felt less stressed and had more fun engaging.

Write and schedule your tweets for the next week all in one day.
- You build this habit easier cuz of batching.
- Batching prevents mental fatigue due to repetition.
- Think Korean dishes served in multiple small plates rather than a single bowl.
- You feel full more easily as if you’ve eaten a lot, though the amount in both serving methods (bowl vs plates) are the same.
- Doing the same thing in multiple time slots makes you feel busier than you actually do.
To grow is to engage.
I remembered googling to figure out the best time to tweet for a better reach, but a friend @dabidoYT said that engaging with others is the best way. It really is!
It’s okay to count all the tweets.
- Sometimes, you may forget to add the #tweet100 tag.
- That's okay! Your goal is to tweet daily anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Hence, 👇
Track your own progress :D
- The official leaderboards track in Eastern Time (ET). It may not show the most accurate Days Tweeted and Success Rate!
- For e.g., you may’ve tweeted on July 22 in your time zone, but it’s still July 21 in ET!
You may lose followers, but it’s okay!
- Even without #tweet100, you could still lose them.
- In the end, you will have followers who stay for your content!
