Remote Office hours
Whether you have your entire class online at the same time or are having them working through tasks on Google Classroom on their own time, you need an easy way for opening up communication between you, the student, and the parents. Assuming you keep a calendar up-to-date on Google this is quite easy. Below are a couple of options that you might explore.
Calendly
This is by far my favorite method of allowing students to find time in my calendar, and avoid the hassle of back and forth emails.
The part that I Iove the most about this product is that I could have people trying schedule time with me to answer a simple question.

This helps me in a few ways.
- I could make sure I am prepared with any information
- I could answer the question with an email. Many times questions are easily answered with a few sentences and a link.
- Students know that they have open access to me.
Google Calendar Appointment Slots
If you want to keep it simple on Google Calendar, you could try Google's Appointment. All you need to do is go to Google Calendar and click Create > Appointment slots.

Here is a video on how to make it work.
