What are the ideal line heights for different viewport sizes (in general)?

On average, line height should be 1.5. However, tighter lines (1.2 to 1.5) are easier to read with shorter line lengths on small screens. Large screens, where the type is also likely to be larger, can handle more open line heights (1.4 to 1.6).
